About Parquet files
Apache Parquet is a columnar format for analytics data, used by Spark, pandas, DuckDB and data warehouses. It is binary and compressed, so it can’t be read in a text editor.
Open Online reads Parquet with hyparquet and loads only the rows you look at, so large files open quickly.
